Job Description

Design Group Staffing is currently recruiting for an experienced Welder in the Waterloo area. This role is a permanent and full-time opportunity with a client that specifically designs, engineers and manufactures steel components and systems for various global clients. Their engineered products, containment systems and fabrications are manufactured to meet the world’s most rigorous manufacturing and quality standards.

For this role, the candidate must be able to weld structural steel and parts. They must also be able to weld in all positions, fits and assembles fabrication or parts. This role would be a straight afternoon shift and have a starting wage of $25/hr plus benefit package.

  • Afternoon shift
  • Premium: $1 per hr
  • Monday to Thursday

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years working as a Welder/Fitter
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficient at stainless steel/carbon, MIG, TIG, Stick Flux Core and Sub Arc welding
  • TSSA tickets
