Site Supervisor – Low rise residential, Guelph 

We are currently seeking a Site Supervisor for a privately owned residential builder due to its success in the locality. Building on a solid foundation they are a growing company and are looking for an experienced Supervisor for work in the GTA area to join their award winning team. Our client has a long standing history of providing a quality product on time and to budget priding themselves on building quality, low rise, medium to high density housing communities and are a home builder of choice offering a turnkey development from initial land purchase, design and construction.

Should you be interested you will have:

• An excellent understanding and interpreting project plans, specifications and drawings and assist with preparing the project schedule and maintaining it on a weekly basis.
• Be the site point of contact for all sub-trades and be responsible for scheduling, coordinating vendors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee the labour force in the field and be responsible for signing off time sheets and keeping accurate daily site records.
• Solid knowledge of Ontario Building Codes, WHIMIS and other Health & Safety requirements.  
• Overseeing all production related matters and making sure the job is on time and to budget by supervising trades & labour and to also ensure the highest possible quality standards are being met.

• 5 years’ experience working on low rise, medium volume residential projects in the GTA, sub-divisions is a must 
• You must have exceptional communication skills in dealing with sub?trades, contractors, suppliers, and potential customers both verbally and in writing.
• A positive outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude as well as being a team player, taking real pride in your work and holding true to setting the highest possible standards on a project is essential.
• Hold all relevant safety tickets and first aid certificates that are up to date and valid.

The salary for this position will be between $90,000-105,000 + Truck + Bonus and Benefits.
