Job Description

Design Group has an opportunity for an Account Manager who has the potential to drive Automation sales for our client in Windsor. This opportunity is well suited to a Sales executive who has demonstrated experience in selling complex automated equipment to clients in various market segments. The Account Manager acts as a primary contact of the company for clients and ensuring a high standard of customer relations are continually met. If you are a driven problem solver this is the opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will possess a excellent verbal communication skills, proven sales skills, a valid Ontario automotive driver's license and passport for international travel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducts sales calls to client base on a regular basis, continually seeking new customers and developing opportunities
  • Shows passion when introducing and demonstrating new products and company portfolios to existing and potential accounts
  • Developing and preparing business proposals, completing account reviews, maintaining a sales pipeline and staying informed on industry trends
  • Assists customers with process evaluations, project layouts, designs and pricing as the customer facing company representative
  • Meets KPI’s including weekly sales calls, booking client meetings, and responding to clients with requests for product pricing and documentation
  • Works with other internal department to ensure a smooth experience for the client including, customer support and parts sales

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of sales in the Automation and or Machine Vision industry delivering automation projects
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering or technical disciplines preferred
  • Experience in the development of new business or new product proposals
  • Ability to Travel throughout North America and occasionally Internationally
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large scale clients and deliver products that meet their needs
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex custom equipment to large manufacturing firms across various industries
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office, Solidworks, Autocad
