Inteqna Toronto is looking for Release Engineer. Responsibilities include development of Continuous Integration and Continuous Release process/setups for the various C# .Net SaaS web applications and supporting the SDLC from beginning to end. Collaborating directly with all members of the product development team, you will influence design, product and technology decisions. You will work closely with team members to define processes and tools in a new startup environment.

  • Configure and manage automated and zero downtime releases.
  • Support all planned and hotfix releases.
  • Manage source code repository and branching strategies.
  • Manage and optimize build configurations for all environments.
  • Monitoring, triage, and driving resolution of build failures.
  • Identify changes in sprints that impact release procedure
  • Driving automated test failures to resolution before releases.
  • Configure and manage all development and production environments including but not limited to web and SQL servers.
  • Configure and manage software for issue tracking, sprint planning and wiki (prefer Atlassian experience).
  • Manage continuous integration processes
  • Provide guidance to development teams on best practices for releases and day to day development.
  • Production customer support and system maintenance


  • Jenkins management and Jenkins Pipeline scripting with Groovy
  • MSBuild and WebDeploy
  • Batch / PowerShell scripting
  • Visual Studio project and solution configurations
  • Web / Application configuration transformation
  • MS SQL Server connection configuration
  • NodeJS / Knockout / Javascript flavors build, transform, and publish, NPM
  • Nuget package management
  • Windows service management and scheduled task management
  • Windows server management
  • C# Integration testing
  • Javascript / Typescript
  • Postman
  • NCrunch / DotCover
  • C# Programming for back end services
  • Webdriver, Specflow, Protractor or other browser testing framework
  • Pre Commit and Post Commit hook authoring
