Job Description

Our client in Toronto is an integrated manufacturer and solutions provider to the international commercial and military aerospace sectors who is currently seeking a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in quality assurance in aerospace or a similar industry.  


  • Champion NADCAP approvals for internal special processes
  • Participate and lead AS9100/ISO9001 and Customer Product and Quality Management Audits; perform internal and supplier audits of product and quality system
  • Lead RCCA projects for processes and/or production part improvements
  • Generate and control department instructions, internal and supplier corrective actions and special process instructions
  • Document/discuss through the MRB process unacceptable or inferior quality materials with internal and external parties and take corrective action
  • Establish and perform Special Process documentation and audits for special processes
  • Participate in Six Sigma (MPC), 5S, and Lean Manufacturing quality improvement initiatives
  • Liaison with customer and supplier quality representatives
  • Generate and control cost of quality data
  • Drive adherence to Quality Management Systems through communication, training, auditing and leading quality projects/initiatives
  • Other relevant duties, as assigned


  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Engineering
  • 5-10 years quality assurance experience
  • Aerospace and Manufacturing experience required
  • NADCAP experience; AS9100/ISO 9001 auditing and documentation experience
  • Ability to read aerospace drawings and specifications
  • Adequate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Well versed in Geometric Tolerance
  • Knowledgeable in the control and documentation of Special Processes
  • Analytical Ability
  • Good attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, results oriented; and capable of completing assigned tasks according to established written/verbal instructions
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products
