Design Group Staffing is looking for a Project Coordinator to manage high-profile tenant improvement (TI) projects for a Vancouver-based company. This role is located in Downtown Vancouver and reports to project managers on multi-million dollar projects. Your Challenge:

As the project coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering direct client interface on TI projects in the Vancouver area. Key responsibilities will include providing superior client service, utilization of project management software to chart progress, providing regular status updates to the Project Manager, managing project financials and closely monitoring job progress, effectively managing workforce issues, ensuring client satisfaction, ensuring that company goals and objectives are met or exceeded, and promoting & driving organization objectives. You will attend client meetings as necessary and assist in the determination of project requirements

Your Background:

The successful applicant for this Project Coordinator opportunity should have demonstrated abilities in client interaction and construction, with a familiarity in construction methods and building codes. Desired background includes a Diploma in Construction Project Management from BCIT and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a coordinator on medium-large scale TI projects. The ideal candidate will also be experienced in Timberline.

You must have a strong ability to develop relationships with clients and site personnel, working with a diverse group of staff, skill sets, and personalities.
