Construction Project Coordinator, Calgary

Design Group’s Construction Division has a permanent opportunity for a professional and articulate Construction Project Coordinator to join a renowned Real Estate Development Company in their Alberta division. This organization is accomplished in commercial and multifamily developments and is looking for a dynamic professional with a strong construction background to join them in their Calgary office.

Responsibilities:

  • Electronic File and Drawing Management
  • Contract Change Order Management and Control
  • Budget Report Drafts
  • Invoice Approval and Tracking
  • Schedule Monitoring
  • Site Meeting Participation and Owner Action/RFI Follow Up
  • Quality Control Program Monitoring
  • Site Inspections
  • Project Closeout/LEED Document Pursuit
  • Consultant and Supplier Proposal Calls/RFP’s

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in commercial and/or residential construction or design with strong technical knowledge
  • Previous project coordination or contract administration experience with an eye for detail
  • Can adapt to various situations whilst practicing diplomacy
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter who can work in high pressure situations
  • Personable, professional and articulate
