Job Description

Design Group is hiring a permanent Product Development Coordinator for our client in Burlington whose team is expanding. This person will be working in conjunction with the Engineering Department in an effort to support areas in product development with tasks including arranging meetings and keeping minutes to obtaining quotes from vendors and assisting with shipping. Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Engineering and other departments during the different levels of Product Development including obtaining quotes/samples, shipping product, liaising with vendors, sending out customer packages
  • Arrange meeting dates and set up the equipment; keep meeting minutes, and circulate to the team
  • Liaise between sales and engineering; assist in support activity with sales, quality, production and purchasing
  • Support suppliers in obtaining quotes and samples and validation requirements
  • Assist in getting requisitions issued for tooling kick off
  • Handling the PPAP submission process
  • Keeping files organized and any additional projects as necessary

Qualifications

  • College Degree in an applicable field
  • At least 2 years experience in an Administrative, Coordinator role.
  • Effectively meeting deadlines, self-motivated and energetic with positive enthusiasm.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Manufacturing Industry and technical background an asset
