Job Description

Talentcor Mississauga is currently recruiting for Processing Clerks in Toronto for one of the leading financial institutions in Canada. The Processing Clerk is responsible for receiving and dispatching incoming/outgoing Canadian and foreign currency cash orders and shipments.

Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate accurate and efficient processing of all incoming and outgoing cash orders and shipments
  • Ensure security measures are in place and consistently applied using well-defined standards, procedures and guidelines
  • Participate as a contributing team member in the department and assist in clerical duties such as filing, faxing, photocopying, ordering stationery and dispatch supplies to ensure department efficiency


Requirements:

  • Experience in a branch banking environment or an items processing environment
  • Ability to use general office equipment (e.g. adding machines, fax, photocopier, scanner, printer)
  • Basic knowledge of PC skills and a Windows environment with the ability to toggle between programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational skills sufficient to prioritize routine daily workload
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
