Job Description

Talentcor Markham is currently recruiting for an Office Administrator for our Not for Profit Church client  located in Scarborough. This is as immediate temp to perm job with 4 weeks holidays and good benefits!


  • Direct all incoming phone calls
  • Sort all incoming mail and process outbound mail
  • Manage and process courier shipments
  • Type and reproduce the weekly Sunday worship bulletin and all special worship services as requested;
  • Assist clergy and other staff with typing, photocopying, mailing and other administrative needs
  • Assist parish volunteers with the creation and reproduction of calendars and newsletters
  • Send invoices and receive rent and expense cheques related to the rectory and users of the facilities
  • Keep track of all lease and license agreements related to the use of facilities, and insurance policies
  • Prepare weekly parish notices and other promotional brochures and notices as required by the clergy
  • Order office supplies
  • Possible general accounting duties


  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • 1--4 years related experience
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Creative and innovative problem solver
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
