Talentcor is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician (Journeyman Red Seal). This position is based in Winnipeg.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license and Red Seal Certification required for this role
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in electronics and/or electromechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic, hydronic heating and cooling systems, refrigerant chillers, cooling towers, P.C. controllers and PLC controllers in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of MB electrical codes
• Ability to work on scheduled shutdowns, shifting schedule and must be willing to work beyond the normal working hours.
• Develops PM task lists, spare parts lists, execute validation documents, prepares work orders and deficiency lists for equipment and facility.
• Maintains a safe and debris-free work environment and follow company safety rules, SOP’s, GMP’s, and HACCP mandates as required.  
• Proficiency in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics as well as mechanical drawings. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
