JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct analysis for and improve digital marketing performance / conversions by optimizing web pages, landing pages, PPC campaigns, display advertisement campaigns and social media advertising campaigns. 

Successful performance for this position is measured entirely on increased traffic on digital channels, and improvements in conversion rates and a resulting increase in students that start school. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the strategic optimization of digital marketing campaigns, pay per click campaigns, landing pages, web pages and email nurturing campaigns.
  • Design, develop and launch testing, targeting and optimization activities across all landing pages and websites.
  • Test marketing messages, program descriptions, calls-to-action, banners, page layouts, page designs and page flows
  • Optimize site/page performance to increase clicks, conversions & student enrolment
  • Report on the progress of conversion optimization on a weekly and monthly basis through the delivery of key performance indicator reports and conversion test logs
  • Ensure site architecture and site optimization strategy keep pace with evolving organic search practices
  • Along with the Marketing Brand Managers, responsible for following brand guidelines, messaging, and compliance while making improvements on conversion rates, and the acquisition of quality leads and on digital channels
  • Guide the marketing team on the improvement of email nurturing campaigns
  • Summarize analysis and communicate findings effectively to marketing team
  • In consultation with the Director, Marketing Strategy, prioritize analysis and recommendations based on estimated business impact
  • Design & create landing page a/b tests for digital marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights.


 



POSITION PROFILE



A. Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Marketing) or relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Digital Analytics, Conversion Optimization or related field in Online Marketing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing including Google Adwords, Google Analytics.
  • Marketo, Pardot or Eloqua experience is considered an asset
  • Experience in other Online Marketing disciplines, such as SEM, SEO, Social Media, etc.
  • Experience designing & developing landing pages
  • Experience in performing A/B testing of landing pages etc.
  • Familiarity with optimization tools for PPC and other digital marketing platforms
  • Knowledge of traditional marketing and experience working as part of a marketing team
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, PHP and SQL.

  • Ability to think analytically, identify and solve problems through data analysis
  • Proven analytical skills, with the ability to summarize and present findings clearly and concisely
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to marketing teams and other stakeholders
  • Experience with basic testing theory, strategy, and tools
  • Team player, able to work with global cross-functional teams
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Highly motivated, detail oriented, and a self-starter
