The Talentcor National Recruitment Centre (NRC) is growing!  Based in Toronto or Mississauga this role supports the fulfilment of IT/Technical roles in both Ontario and Quebec.  As an IT Recruiter you will build a powerful IT/Technical talent pipeline of consultant and contingent workers to meet the needs of our clients.  This is a high volume, fast-paced opportunity that requires attention to detail and the ability to build and maintain strong candidate pipelines.

You are:

  • Able to source, evaluate and match candidates with appropriate IT opportunities – you are a matchmaker and you understand the world of Boolean search strings!
  • A hands on user of VMS tools and possess MSP account management skills
  • Tenacious and resilient – you love a challenge
  • An experienced IT Recruiter with 1-2 years recruitment background
  • Results focused with a commitment to follow-up – you are proud of your work
  • Energetic and urgent – you value a strong work ethic
  • A competitive team player – you like to be on a winning team
  • Motivated to meet and exceed established performance metrics – you have a “do more” attitude
  • An accomplished communicator  - you are professional in your verbal and written communications and can work within a team that is geographically distributed across Canada
  • Exceptionally organized with attention to detail even in the midst of changing priorities – you are calm and prepared in the center of a storm
  • Passionate about people – you want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of candidates, while delivering results for clients and supporting colleagues

You will:

  • Create and manage job postings
  • Proactively source IT candidates through a variety of methods including job boards, social media, networking, internet search strings, referrals
  • Develop and execute talent attraction strategies to increase the pipeline of IT/Technical candidates
  • Conduct telephone pre-screens and book candidates for in-person interviews
  • Maintain database and update files and documents
  • Complete candidate references
  • Adhere to deadlines within defined SLA (Service Level Agreements)
