Our client at Talentcor Toronto is a major name in the insurance industry. They are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative (Provider Search) for their office in Downtown Toronto for a contract of 3 months with a strong possibility of conversion into a permanent role.

Our client has a new Business Unit; As a leading provider of health benefits in Canada, our client supports the health care needs of Canadians with more than 75 million claims paid and more than 50 million health touchpoints per year. The mandate of this new business unit is to act with agility and speed to invest in new partnerships and capabilities that provide innovative solutions for Canadians in the digital health space.

This Business Unit brings our client’s own leading digital and health capabilities together with those of leading players from across the health care spectrum to help Canadians by:

  • Find new and better ways of accessing health care products and services empowering them along the way
  • Act by making healthy choices to support wellness goals
  • Better manage chronic conditions with advanced technologies and insights

Role Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative, Provider Search, is accountable for sales, retention, profitability and growth of selected provider relationships across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute on the elements of the Canadian business development strategy focusing on the sales and service of traditional providers (e.g. Paramedical, Dental) while delivering on the corresponding revenue and margin targets
  • Be the primary contact for Canadian providers to drive adoption of the Canadian business strategy – make proactive outbound calls to providers to understand needs and drive acquisition – respond to inbound inquiries from providers with goal of driving acquisition and retention of providers
  • Review all provider profiles for quality and completion and create a best practices initiative to drive engagement – enhancing the onboarding provider experience & adoption
  • Work with Director, Provider Partnerships to create and track sales KPI’s leveraging
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal partners and act as a representative for the new Business Unit as well as our Client with selected providers
  • Work directly small to medium providers and assist with large providers and provider associations engagements


  • Experience the culture of a start-up while working for a large traditional organization
  • Frequent exposure to Senior leaders with opportunities to learn alongside and influence up


  • Undergraduate Business Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of exceeding goals / targets in inside sales capacity
  • Solid understanding and experience with the digital market place and social media
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the need of clients and work with internal partners as the voice of the client to shape future capabilities to meet the client needs
  • Ability to multitask and operate in rapidly changing environment based upon needs of the business
  • Ability to use iterative and collaborative approach
  • Understanding of Insurance products and services, is an asset
  • Previous experience with is an asset
