Job Description

Design Group Staffing is currently seeking a Facility Integrity Coordinator for our client based in Grande Prairie, AB.

In this role, you will have shared responsibility for management and execution of the company’s pipeline and pressure equipment integrity programs in the Grande Prairie area, with emphasis on the pipeline file. You will work directly with Operations, Engineering, and service supplier personnel.


  • Work in multi-disciplinary teams, usually in a field environment
  • Manage pipeline and pressure equipment integrity programs in accordance with provincial Regulations and company’s requirements
  • Manage pipeline corrosion inhibition program(s) and report on performance and compliance
  • Coordinate inspection vendors for in-line inspection tools, non-destructive examination, and corrosion surveys
  • Develop repair recommendations and procedures based on inspection findings
  • Ensure that cathodic protection monitoring surveys are completed, reviewed and documented
  • Participate in pipeline data collection and risk assessments
  • Conduct equipment inspections, write and review reports, and complete data collection spreadsheets
  • Ensure that Code and Regulation revisions are implemented in the design, construction, and repair of pipelines and pressure equipment


  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Post-secondary education
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience with pipeline integrity programs
  • Minimum of API 510 or National Board certification; ABSA PESL, and API 570 certification would be an asset
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline operation and pipeline failure mechanisms with a working knowledge of production equipment and process facilities
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to understand CSA, API and ASME codes and their application
  • Familiarity with the provincial legislation for pipelines and pressure equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
