Talentcor Halifax is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Accountabilities:

  • Assumes responsibility for the accurate entry of customer orders.
  • Receives orders by phone, fax, electronically and by email.
  • Assumes responsibility for effectively performing miscellaneous customer service functions.
  • Complete driver check in process.
  • Send mail via Courier
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with customers.
  • Resolves questions, requests, and problems promptly and courteously.
  • Politely obtains and conveys information as needed.
  • Maintains the Company's professional reputation.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager
  • Use fax machine, other admin tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Superior customer service skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good organizational skills and time management abilities
  • intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite and Outlook Calendar
  • excellent communication skills (verbal and non –verbal)
  • Evening shift from 2:00pm until 10:00pm Monday to Friday
