Design Group Staffing and Inteqna (business brands of DGSI) are Canadian leaders in the provision of staffing solutions in the Engineering, Technical and IT sectors.   We are seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join the internal team at our Calgary office. The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email and social media; maintaining the business unit’s social media presence across all digital channels, and measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.

Main Responsibilities-Build our Brand:

  • Data Analysis – using HubSpot, collect, analyze, & report on how people interact with Design Group Staffing and Inteqna’s websites and social media platforms. 
  • Make recommendations using data on how to optimize our marketing and web presence, improve the user’s experience, and increase engagement.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaign strategies.
  • Design, build and maintain Design Group Staffing and Inteqna’s social media presence.
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against ROI.
  • Support other marketing initiatives.

Position Accountabilities:

  • Knowledge of conversion rates that signal how websites/content are performing.
    • calls to action (contact us forms)
    • whitepaper downloads
    • blog subscription signup
    • animation/video placement
  • Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Optimize spend and performance for all plans for Design Group Staffing and Inteqna.
  • Identify trends and insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for both Design Group and Inteqna.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies.

Ideal Education and Experience:

  • Marketing Degree with focus/specialization in Digital Marketing. 
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing (at least 1 year in a company with multiple brands, multiple locations; with two streams of customers, ideally clients & candidates).
  • Proven experience with SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media campaigns.
  • Experienced in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g. DART, Atlas).
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Capability for consultation and collaboration with multi-location/province client groups.

Nice to Have:

  • Direct experience with HubSpot.
  • Bilingual English/French language skills would be advantageous.
