Looking for Stability-Challenge-Great Opportunity for Growth-Congenial working environment-Great benefits:    Great position for senior corp/comm paralegal who is intrigued with mentoring and taking juniors under her/his wing.   Work in reputable long-established downtown law firm which is looking for strong enthusiastic paralegal  having strong corporate/commercial background and potential to take "team lead" role.     Must be adept with word processing and able to draft pleadings, documents and correspondence from dictation, precedent and  independently on files, follow up correspondence, submit documents for registration with Land Titles Office and/or Corporate Registry, conduct tax, land title and other requisite security searches.    Must be able to handle full carriage of sale/purchase, refinance, commercial files beginning to end, including final reporting.   
Should have ability to access and use on-line legal resources, preferably with Spin II .   Must have good file management, scheduling, billing, accounts receivable and database management.    Duties include opening files, working files from beginning to end, review of instructions, conducting requisite searches and due diligence, drafting appropriate documentation, including transfers, mortgages, caveats, builders' liens, debenture, chattel securities, calculating cash to close, registering documents with Land Titles, all contact with clients to obtain information from them and answer queries, reporting letters, etc.    Responsible for scheduling client meetings and/or meeting clients and responding to inquiries.      Communication skills requisite in order to liaise with legal assistants, other lawyers and clients and update them on file progress.    Candidates should have 3-5 years corp/comm experience in province.  Has to be accurate and detail-oriented and possess sound judgment and initiative and be dedicated to providing quality service to clients.    Strong diplomacy required in dealing with clients, ability to multi-task, establish priorities, work independently and have good problem-solving skills.  Candidate will have excellent ability to think logically and analyze information, ability to organize their work flow.   Only candidates with exceptional attention to detail and ability to work without supervision will thrive in this position.
